I thank the distro creator for making something that I appreciate and can use. After downloading extract the file using 7-Zip and you’ll get a folder containing 2 DLL files and 2 BMP files. Interested people can download it using following link: Download Mac OS X Mountain Lion Login Screen for Windows 7. I have updated this to the full level of Ubuntu 14.04 that I can, but have not been able to get the Software Updater to allow me to upgrade to 16.04 yet.Īll in all, an excellent distro. It can be used in both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (圆4) versions of Windows 7. More of a desire than a complaint, I wish there was an updated version of this distro, at least updated to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. This could be due partially to my internet connection. It will eventually allow the user to download and install system upgrades, but is inconsistent. The "Software Updater" tool/application seems a little glitchy. My only two complaints are as follows: 1. I really like that this has the Remastersys program included to allow for making custom ISO's Jabbawok used the Chameleon bootloader to emulate EFI64. In addition to the graphics card, the hack needed to bypass two issues: the lack of 32-bit compatibility in Mountain Lion and the fact that the Mac Pro is not on the software’s list of supported devices. It has a good assortment of software and should be easy for a Linux user at any level to add more software or make customizations to. The Mac Pro was updated to a relatively new Apple-branded version of AMD’s HD5770. It can be easily used as a base for my further attempts to create something that is even more MacOS-like in a Linux enviroment. An excellent Linux MacOS clone with a Cinnamon desktop and Ubuntu base.
